Hi there! How're you doing?

I'm Jamie Boyd, a professional web developer, sometime speaker and photographer, and all-of-the-time husband.

I'm an expert front-end developer and love Web Standards, Progressive Enhancement, Semantic Markup, User Experience and lots of other two-word delights. Above all, I love the craft of web design and development, and sharing this craft with others.

I'm currently exploring Responsive Web Design as a part of the emerging Adaptive Web, and I recently spoke on the subject as part of Glasgow's Social Media Week 2011.

I work for Equator, a digital agency based in Glasgow, Scotland, where I'm a senior member of the Interface Development team. I've built web user interfaces for clients such as AXA, SSE, Macdonald Hotels and Lewisham College.

I live in Glasgow with my wife, Heather.
